JOB DESCRIPTION
ROLE: Sales Engineer
Work Location: Head office
Reports to: Sales Manager | Full-time
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Developing and implementing sales and marketing strategies.
- Establishing and maintaining customer relations.
- Providing advanced presales support to clients.
- Presenting irrigation solutions to customers.
- Carrying out site visits, making system designs and quotations for customers.
- Providing a lead role in the after-sales support for our customers.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
- Study existing and new legislation; anticipate future legislation; advise Sprinktech Limited and its customers on product, service, or equipment adherence to requirements; advise customers on needed actions.
- Develop professional and technical knowledge by; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.
Education and Work Experience Requirements:
- A bachelor’s degree in engineering or any other related field.
- At least 2 years experience in the water pumping and irrigation field
- Proficiency in engineering design software especially Autocad, google earth, and or IRRICAD
- Ability to use trade-relevant tools like GPS
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to safely and successfully perform essential job functions, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.
- Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance
- Must be able to talk, listen and speak clearly on the telephone
